Dear Dad,

What a week! Alex started football practice this week, after a complete turn around about competitive soccer. We had noticed a complete lack of effort as soccer practice began again and after a long talk with both the coach and Hal, he asked if he could do football this year instead.

This sudden change resulted in my first miracle of the week! Alex had to have a physical by Friday in order for the whole team to receive their football pads on Saturday. Of course as Hal headed back to work Wednesday, he handed me the football application and physical form to complete.

Miracle #1: in and out of the walk-in clinic with completed physical in hand, lunch at taco bell and son back in school in 1 hour and 20 minutes! (during Alex's lunch hour)

The next day I had to go to the Dept of Motor Vehicles to complete the Title paperwork for the Churches' Modular Kitchen. I had heavy shoulders this week after a class on Manufactured housing, just knowing I needed to complete this title paperwork so the Church would have everything they needed concerning the new kitchen... So I made an appt with one of our dear church trustees for the next day in order to go to DMV.

Miracle #2: A New "Deactivated" Title for the church kitchen in less than an hour! (includes a side trip to the County Assessor for a tax certificate)

As you can see, I am as busy as ever, oh did I mention I put a house on contract last week too? Inspections, appraisals and loan work done, waiting on a closing date as soon as seller has pack out date! God is Good.

Alicia and I went to the house Tuesday evening, we picked more apples from your trees, a handful of strawberries that didn't even make it home, and a few tomatoes too! Chris and I are planning a yard work day mid September before you come back-the weeds are threatening a take over even though I hand pulled a lot of them this time....oh ya I think I figured out the water softener issue too! Miss you bunches and we ready for a Wii party!!

The new tax credit is not just for first time home buyers! Buyers who have lived in their current home for 5 or more years are eligible for up to $6,500.

First time buyers amount of credit is up to $8,000.

Income limits of $125,000 single or $225,000 married will apply.
